| Fabulous Steuben “Rose Cluthra ACB (acid cut back)” lamp in the “Chang” design. This wonderful lamp is a beautiful rose cluthra, cased in green with frosted handles, the base is gold metal. The glass component for this type of lamp was sold to the “ Art Glass Lamp Company” where the metal fittings were added, this accounts for the glass not being signed. A similar lamp is in Revi’s “American Art Nouveau Glass” Pg. 157, Fig. 310. The shade is the original frame, however the pink silk material has been replaced, the green cording around the top and bottom of the shade is original. Size: 24 inches tall. Condition: Excellent. Circa: 1929 PROVENANCE: Purchased from “Barths” on 3-24-65 by a friend who was a long time collector of Steuben glass, the purchase information is from his documentation. | ||
